Pension Schumbert in Erbach

Been there yesterday ... simple inn with good cuisine and very friendly staff ... unfortunately no more delicious deer medallions in stock, as the next three weeks will be a well-deserved vacation. Childhood memories came up because I went back with my grandparents after collecting mushrooms. Always beautiful.

Great hosts, good food, warm room, soft bed. Gladly again. LG

They have such great food. And if you don't have any problems with the oxen practicing climbing on the pasture next door, this is the place for you

Beautiful location, very friendly staff and great food. You have to try the BBQ on the impressive fire pit.

We arrived on our motorbikes around 5.30 pm on Sunday afternoon ... we report ... that was quite suspicious ... said we had booked through their internet site ... the suspicion had disappeared ... got the key to our room with a large balcony ... unfortunately dated .... washbasin in the room ... shower toilet separate ... but with a heat boiler in the shower ... therefore little space to shower ... unfortunately this boiler was not heated up there first waiting to take a shower ... after the cold shower we went to eat and got a good meal soup / schnitzel / fries / salad and a dessert ... frankly this was very good .... but the next days it fell us against a kind of day bite ... especially Friday was very bad .. pickled herring with boiled potatoes ... about food you can have an opinion but even the German guests who were there did not think it was good ... unfortunately we could not choose from a daily menu or choice menu ... eat what is served ... also were not told what was served that day, the breakfast is simple but sufficient ... 2 sandwiches p.p and some cold cuts / cheese / jam coffee or tea at the table .. no breakfast buffet the first 2 days our beds were made and the garbage bin emptied the next 3 days nothing was done to our room at all the manager's daughter was in hospital and I don't know if this bad service has anything to do with this ... you would almost think so because all contacts went through their daughter

Did not feel welcome after a long day of walking. The first question was "couldn't you have called in advance?" The room was small and dark. When asked if I could also eat in the village in the evening, the answer was "probably". I stayed at a different guest house every day in May 2014 due to a 12 day hike. This one was downright the worst of all: indifferent owner, no service, depressing room, meager breakfast.

I have been for 15-16 days in the Pension Schumbert and must say that I am always on the new looking forward to stay there and to feed well. The hosts are always nice and helpful with questions and the kitchen has great Offer. I'm looking forward to July when I see the family again
